"Memories Pickup" is a new production collaborated by five dancers. We use a pickup as a mobile theater to perform contemporary dance and combine common daily elements to promote performing arts.
It explores the meaning of the pickup and the social appearance in the 70s to 80s. Rethink the differences between that era and the current 21st century. The pickup has a hard-working spirit in Taiwan as many people use it to run small businesses, such as labor workers, night markets, local productions, and street food. On the familiar and ubiquitous pickup, we use light, shadow, and dramatic methods to perform contemporary dance and explore the local street culture and memory of Taiwan. The performance is matched with the current roadside environment to create an alternative environment. We hope to let the audience who accidentally sees the works enter the art world and be part of it.

We would love to participate in festival/fringe/site performances. It requires minimum technique but explores and adapts to the maximum and diverse audiences. We can also conduct inclusive dance workshops after the performances to engage all kinds of audiences.
