“To make the Art integrate into Life. To make Life create the Art.” It is the core value of Daily Production. Hsu, Ting Wei, the owner of Daily Production has been working hard to connect art into life. He collects all of the pieces created by lived experiences and works he took part in to reflect on art practice as a whole.
Choreographer Hsu, Ting Wei was born in 1992 in Huatan Township of Changhua County in Taiwan. While he was 7 years old, the devastating 921 earthquake struck Taiwan and Changhua County Government decided to offer more dance class instead of classic psychological counseling class to soothe those children’s mind. Hsu, Ting Wei was the one who found his passion and started to be dedicated to performing arts field since then. After graduating from Dance Department of Youth Senior High School and School of Dance, Taipei National University of the Arts, he joined
Bulareyaung Dance Company as a full-time dancer. In 2018, he decided to turn over a new leaf and returned to hometown Changhua County to set up Daily Project until now.
